Release of Human Rights Report 2007

The U.S. Department of State today announces the release of the Country Reports on Human Rights Practices for 2007.  The U.S. Congress mandates these reports every year on 194 countries around the world, including the five countries to which the Embassy is accredited:  Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Tonga and Tuvalu. (more)

U.S. Consul Travel to Tonga (Vavau) - July 28 and 29, 2008

Consul Quinn Plant will be in Vavau, Tonga from Monday July 28 to Tuesday July 29 to conduct voting outreach and take applications for reports of births and passports, and to notarize documents that will be used in the U.S.  (more)
